Department of Health KZN with two hospitals linked to Virtual Telehealth Centre based in Johannesburg

Virtual Telehealth Centre (VTC) 

Telemedicine Africa further established a Virtual Telehealth Centre in partnership with the IDC and Dimension Data. Such a VTC was envisaged to be a centre of medical and telemedicine technology excellence and would host specialists and doctors on a clinical basis; these medical professionals would then give advice and diagnosis to patients that connect to the site. Services would then be extended to public clinics and hospital that are in need of specialists and highly qualified medical professionals
